Headlight Help Needed, 2011 328i e93

Hello everyone,

My halo light stopped working a few weeks ago on the driver side and I’ve done some research on diagnosing this issue where I could use some additional input.

I took to the car to my mechanic he took the headlight apart and mentioned there is no bulb and that it is powered by a ballast instead. Is this really the case where there actually isn’t a physical h8 bulb compared to the pre lci models?

If it is the ballast where can I source one other than eBay as I yet to find a distributor selling this part.

Any help or feedback is appreciated as I would to have this headache sorted out!!

If not mistaken, You should be able to open the headlight plastic rear lid holding by 2 metal clips from the front hood and access the bulb. I replaced my halo light on my 135 a few months ago.
