Pelican Parts - Bad Fuel Injector

I ordered a new Bosch fuel injector for the M57 from Pelican Parts. The replacement injector has a manufacturing defect; the hold down clamp reveal is too narrow to accept the hold down clamp (see photos below). A Pelican Parts specialist reviewed photos and identified the defective manufacturing issue, but after numbers phone calls, emails, and messages with customer service, it has been difficult getting Pelican Parts to ship the replacement. They deserve credit for issuing a return label today, but the delay in getting the replacement injector shipped has been frustrating.

Original injector on top and on left in the photos below.

Has anyone else recieved a defective Bosch M57 injector?

Just push the collar with the O ring down towards the tip!! It will move. You can see the gap in the side by side pic under where it has 034 printed on the body.. 👍

Thanks for the reply. I see the issue, but it would not move when I tried it by hand, and I did not want to place it in a press and apply pressure before returning it. Pelican Parts sent a replacement injector.
