TPMS inaccuracies

I have just inflated my tyres as per the in car display, 47psi in the front and 38 in the rear. Seems high to me but I followed the guidance.

I inflated the tyres with my PCL gauge connected to a compressor and then double checked them with a Halfords professional digital tyre pressure gauge as per the above settings.

The TPMS reports all sorts of pressures now. The front it reports as 44 and 43 but I know for certain they are 47.

Anyone else noticed some TPMS discrepancies?

I tend to find the TPMS on 2GC (and my 2021 Mini) show about 1-2 PSI less than it really is.
