When I try to update iDrive, it says there are no updates available. Is anyone else experiencing this? I'm pretty sure the last iDrive 7 update was on 3/2022 and I currently have 21-07.

I’m already updated here in Australia.
Received a pop up notification and update strightaway dated 09/12/22. Took about 20-30mins to do it.
Nothing interesting I must say.
2 things I realised from this update:-
1) Eco Pro is abit better, smoother and cruising more frequent.
2) Exhaust Cold start sound is slightly more deeper. I’m not sure about others but those are what I think happened to my 128ti

Dumb question, but how do I know what iDrive my car is currently running?

I actually received the 2022/07 update last week here in the U.S. car is a 2020 m235gc.


If memory serves me correctly, to check version of software,. In electronic owners manual in idrive, search for imprint, resulting screen will show what version you have.


Crazy that 2022/11 is out, but latest for us is July!

I have not noticed any changes to exhaust sound, but that could be because of my model.

Here’s what I see in the app (see attached). I’ve also gone into settings and checked for an update manually. I have a 2021 228i x-drive - Canada.
