Apple car play navigation not on HUD

Hey guys,

I could have sworn when test driving that turn by turn directions whilst using Apple car play (Google maps) were displayed on the heads up display.

Today I used Google maps and nothing.

It seems I’m only getting the native BMW turn by turn directions in HUD.

Is this right, or have I changed a setting somewhere?

As far as I'm aware, the only CarPlay Maps on the HUD is Apple Maps
