Hey all… Have any of you had any luck in having BMW finance honor lower money factors due to an excessive stop sale on your car? My car was "supposed to arrive" on 11/15 but just cleared a nearly 11 week stop sale. Since my rate lock expired, the MF has gone up three times, adding about $2,000 to the cost of my lease. Any insight would be super helpful.

It really doesn't matter what others have seen...you need to see what you can get from your GM. Call or go see him.

I understand that. I am literally in the dealership as we speak. I just want to know if others have had success in this regard so I have better information.

Ask (demand) the old base rate/MF...its a negotiation all over again! :-) They can tell you to pound sand too...so mention alternate financing or write a check.

I'm curious as well. My car is currently a month behind schedule and my CA said they could call and see if BMW will honor my old rate. Ultimately won't know for sure until the car arrives at the end of the month.

I was told this week that they (the dealer) will have BMW honor the rate.

Fwiw - I offered to add the wheel and tire package for a break in the MF. After 3 months, it falls off the dealer P&L goals, and then I'll cancel it.

Merlin I'd recommend getting financing from penfed for 1.5% and bring it to the table. Worst case you take that but you can use it to negotiate best case
