Agree those look perfect. I can't believe no aftermarket exhaust comes with tips like those. Everyone seems to make tips as big as possible, but these just looks right! Very OEM+ look. If Dinan or Remus had an option like these, I probably would have pulled the trigger by now.. [and like others, waited].

Thanks for getting back to me - there were two companies making the wider opening, slant tip, polished black chrome M2C/F80/F82 tips.

One was BMS and the other was CYBA.

From what I read, the BMS was discontinued due to color change under high heat (usually track days). Link and pic from thread below.

For what it's worth - I like the look out of the box and don't mind the color change. I think so many people complained that BMS dropped the black chrome in favor of a ceramic coated matte black.

I heard this morning that my shop is only getting one Dinan exhaust and that I'm waiting at least until April - so I too cancelled and ordered some BMS tips.

That's a feature, not a bug. I *like* the discoloration-- it shows that the car's not a hanger queen.

Agree - I wish I could find the BMS in that finish.

I had to opt for the matte black ceramic coated tips.

The stock exhaust in sport plus sounds good to me - like you, $2200 and ever-lengthening delivery timelines for bigger tips, a deeper tone and less utter started to feel unnecessary.

I may go with an exhaust later but, with only 1200 miles on my car, tips and utter paint will do for a bit.

Man, some of you guys are more stubborn than me. Ordered in August 2020 and canceled late Nov (XPH). With that said I still haven't installed an exhaust yet. Remus Race going on Friday.

For those of you who've cancelled the exhaust from X-PH.

I got my refund credited to my card yesterday, but did NOT get an email from them saying that it had been done (as they'd said they'd do.)

So, no biggie, but you'll have to check your credit card statement to see if your refund has been processed. I was waiting for an email, and that never came.

I followed flybigjet's lead and went with a black matte paint, the bigger ceramic BMS tips and matte black slatted rear reflector delete.

I really like the look...and the price. Still sounds good too.

Ok, I caved. Shop called and let me know they had a Dinan exhaust in hand.

I love it.

It's almost identical in comfort. It's deeper, louder and more aggressive in sport plus.

And as much as the rattle can / BMS tip solution improved the rear, the aesthetics are even better (can is tucked, pipes are just a tad bigger but not over-the-top).

Plus, I have to be honest, rattle can and after market tips reminded me of modding my car in high school - pivoting to a purpose built alternative relieves a mental block.

Will the Dinan system with x pipe work with the milltek decat pipes? Also wonder what it would sound like? Wish Dinan got with of the secondary cats.

I'm curious if this is being offered with the resonated EL midpipe instead of the single midpipe. I honestly hate the way my car sounds. Truly awful. My OG M2 was so so much better.

This is what I am attempting to pair together (non-res version) but have been waiting since November for the Dinan system to arrive.
