Exclamation F30 AWE tuning 328i exhaust on 320i - HELP

Hi guys.. Just a simple question i cant seem to find an answer.

Im looking at grabbing the AWE tuning exhaust suite with the midpipe, dual tips on the single side.

My only concern is connecting the midpipe to the frontpipe. From my understanding, the 328i piping is 72mm whilst 320i is 60mm. Would an exhaust shop be able to adapt to the drop in size or is there an adapter out there which can be used..? Or is the size so significant that its not possible..?

The reason I dont want to go with the AWE 320i package is because the single tip looks like garbage. Yes I have the M sport kit, with the M perf diffuser too.

I could(?) essentially ask AWE to ship me a 320i midpipe with a 328i muffler, and grab the remus adapter to piece it together but i want to avoid the headache, and its cheaper through Mike. Also, with the wider midpipe, it would mean a louder exhaust note, right?

thanks fellas
regards

Can anyone else throw some input please? Would they be able to flange it?

Any exhaust shop will be able to do the installation no problem even if they have to adapted the will just have to cut an extra piece so they can weld everything together. Don't worry about it , and I'm sure it would sound nice . Make sure to upload a video

Was after some more input, obviously...

Does it even make a difference if ive got the 2 1/4 piping with the bottlenecks up top?

Im ordering the exhaust soon and hopefully a shop should do the rest...

Hmm.. interesting. Didnt know it effects volume/tune letalone all the other elements.

Would really appreciate it if you could send me some clips, actually.

Cheers

328i Exhaust on my 320i

I have a Borla 328i Kit on my 320i, When i installed it that wasn't the issue for me fitting wise, i had to custom weld on the O2 sensor bc they didn't line up correctly. It will work! I also had to cut my pumper to fit my 2 big tips on it. It was a pretty clean job, took maybe an hour to do
