Finally picked her up- 428i GC Champagne Quartz
So we finally picked her up yesterday. Dealer was asked not to clean the car and they duly obliged (although found it strange). I spent 3 hours with the snow foam and detailing clay and am happy with the results. A few minor paint blemishes that the dealer said they will rectify so we will see what this week brings but not going to let it spoil the overall experience.
First impressions: 1. I love the 428 engine, I know it is only a 4 cyl and in no way compares to a straight 6, but it really has some punch and a lovely noise 2. Glad I want for adaptive dampers, I was cringing about driving over potholes that shakes that the M4 just doesn't like, the 428 though was very smooth on uneven surfaces. (I suspect the standard suspension set up is pretty good too) 3. Sliding cup holder - why did it take you so long BMW? 4. Full leather dash / seats are lovely 5. Comfort Access party trick with closing the boot with a foot swipe - not necessary in anyway but highly amusing. 6. Finally - the colour - whilst it can seem a bit beige if no sun around, the paint flecks and colour depth are incredible. Overall, a lovely car and I can see why there are so many fans of the 4GC. Felt the configurator made your colour look more brown than it is and also didn't communicate the depth and contrast you get in the sun. Looks stunning! Here's hoping TB is as good in the sun |

What a nice colour combination! I am really taking a liking to the champagne quartz, it's such a unique colour that it's difficult to describe what colour it actually is. If I had to reorder my 435d I would go for the quartz no doubt!

Beautiful car and finish, not my colour for a sporty car, but I can see the appeal of the shade is to your liking. Very very well spec'd car congrats!!

Nice colour combination. It looks much better in your photos that it does on the configurator.
The blue car in the garage is rather nice too.

Lovely looking car - congrats.
I saw this colour at the Geneva Motor Show on Friday - it was stunning under the strong lighting, so it will look even better in the sun. BMW seemed to have a lot of their Individual colours on show, so they must be trying to promote them. |

Thanks for all your positive comments. Also liking the Online Entertainemt, I was a bit sceptical it would a waste of money but the wife can find all her questionable favourite songs - oh dear. |

Have to say that just absolutely works. Suits the car perfectly and your selection of interior is superb. I honestly never thought I'd say that about that colour.
As has been said, it's very classy indeed.

April 18th apparently. Goes into build tomorrow. Thought individual delayed things but nothing compared to individual AND competition package
