Bimmerfest 2015 in NL
Hi,
Is any one else thinking of travelling to Bimmerfest on the 7th of June? I am planning to go and it might be cool to have our own UK section in the ///M paddock. I just need to confirm my leave but I am confident that I will have the time to go. Link for info on the event, http://www.bimmerfest.eu/en/ Denso |

I might be going.. as I have family in Germany and might drive thru that part of the Netherlands and have a peep as to what's happening there...

With a bunch of other f8x owners?
Just 1 night? Then the event and home time? Or another time then off on Monday morning?

Definitely could be up for this, just confirming with some friends!
How is everybody going about arranging overnight stays etc?

Anyone boarded the channel tunnel before? it's quite narrow ? concerns it might scuff your wheels....
rather take the ferry...

Going thru the tunnel is quicker, but my concerns is if you do get the upper deck you're likely to scuff your wheels.
Ferry is bit more generous as you just drive into like a car park. Re: route, the cheapest fare. I dont think distance wise is any different.

The hotel proposed on the Bimmerfest site looks pretty good - Spaces still available!
We should determine a pick up route in the UK and cruise through down to the ferry/tunnel together, i'm located in the midlands! Anyone have any experience of driving abroad? Any special rules, regulations? Insurance?
