Connect drive price increase

I just notice the break for connect drive went from $50 to $120 now that’s insane.

That's what I paid a few months ago so I do not believe this is recent.
I like the ability to track the car, check status, etc.
But I also pay almost $400 dollars a year for XM radio for 2 cars so it seems negligible in cost. I just hate having features taken away. (Shrug)
They almost started charging for apple CarPlay a few years back too but got so much hate about it they, "BMW" changed their minds.

For my car, it's all grouped together and I can ONLY pay $120 for everything. I think it's also been $120 per year. I cannot just pay 50 dollars for traffic like others have.

You need to play the Sirius threaten to cancel game, for 4 cars I was paying $240-300 a year. Though I canceled them all a few years ago cause its such an ongoing pain, decided to stream music from my phone over Bluetooth instead of paying that much for 1 channel when it goes to all overpriced talent they make deals with.

I listen to many channels though and I hate streaming anything. Call it a gen x habit but unless you have top notch internet everywhere which costs a fortune, streaming anything is a downgrade in my personal opinion. I'm also signed up for Apple Music but prefer XM radio 70% of the time.

But getting back to topic, the connected drive service fee comes with some lack luster features for an older M4 and I don't think it's worth 120 per year but it technically only equals 33 cents per day. So, it's chump change.
