Getting the Garage ready >>>>
As I wait for the car to get back from Europe, thought I'd make myself useful and start prepping the garage
Next on the list: - Finish the floor under the sink and around the pole - Buy and install some shelves - More lighting For those wondering about the Red tiles vs the Orange wall, I had a change of heart on the tile color. I am ordering matching orange tiles to replace the red ones.

I paid $1380 for 20x20 garage. If you call them, there are good deals to be had. Don't just blindly order from the website. If you are interested pm me and I will give you info for my my contact at SwissTrax.
By the way, I did multile tests on samples from both swisstrax and race deck before deciding on swisstrax. They are far superior to race deck.

The floor is easily the best money I have ever spent on a garage. It is little to no maintenance. The floor always looks clean. I use a shop vac only once a month to pick up dust/debris that may have fallen through but almost never come up with anything more than just dust. I can walk bare feet in the garage, lie down on it while working under the car and my clothes stay clean. In the winters I drive in with snow on my tires and it melts into the floor and drains right out. The floor always stays dry. And incase I didn't mention this, it always looks good

In my case when snow melts, water either tries to go to the seem with the walls or stays in puddles. I hate the situation but other than broom did not see any solutions. So are you saying the floors help somehow? |
