BMW Performance Exhaust Price Gouge

Whats the deal with the price of the BMW Performance Exhaust?? Wasn't the price lowered last year to 800/900 bucks?... now I see that the price is nearly 1500$ ?????!!!

Anyone know what happened? here?(other than the obvious greedy BS)
How can they justify this? WTF.

Www.getbmwparts.com. $725 for the 128, $875 for the 135. These ship with no tax and are diy items. For the 128, I think the exhaust was a great value, and itmis lighter overall. The additional cost for the 135 is because of the extra pipe.

I was thinking that same thing but looking at the price from bmwusa, the exhaust would cost 1014.80 installed. I do not think that is a bad price because I paid $1000 + installation for my Dinan exhaust on my 5
