2008 330d - what upgrades?
Hi all,
I'm a new BMW car owner, having owned and still own BMW motorbikes. I'm about to remap my 330d and was wondering if there were any other worthwhile mods? e.g. from experience with other (petrol) vehicles upgrading the air filter is a good cost effective upgrade. Has anyone here tried this upgrade, if so what brand of air filter did you use? Is there anything else that people would recommend? Thanks, Danny |

Personally I wouldn't touch the exhaust, removing the DPF at the very most,
I fitted a full turbo back milltek to my 150tdi MK4 Anni Golf and it actually lost me power. Ever since I have been very sceptical of aftermarket diesel exhausts |

A remap should be all you'll need for normal road use.
Not a lot to be done with Diesel tuning really. Well..not on a sensible budget. The exhaust restriction caused by the DPF is the only real issue but I'd rather have the cleaner exhaust. If you really want to modify it then I'd go with Willhollin...Get a Quaife LSD. |

And after a remap you will need some decent tyres.
