Is this part of the car? Did the towel somehow manage to catch onto something and pull something out? Or is this something external and they've somehow managed to put it in?

I just want to double check before I go trying to pull this out with tweezers and end up pulling something important out.

Maybe a piece of transit wrap that the dealer didn't fully remove at delivery, that the cleaners tugged out partially?

Thanks mate. A bit more information from myself would have helped.

The car is a few years old now.

That white thing is like plastic. Not hard plastic like what the lights are made of, more of a malleable plastic like a thick version of what milk bottles are made of.

Is this your rear light? I had something similar. I first pushed it back, a few weeks later I saw it again and I pulled it out

Yes the rear light.

I think it is actually from something within the car. I tried pulling it out with tweezers but it was impossible to get a grip or something was holding onto it from the other end.

I've pushed it back but It's still somewhat sticking out so it isn't ideal. No idea.... how, who, what?
