Bike rack : roof top or trunk Mount ?

I'll be buying an invisible tow bar as I need to carry 4 bikes.

Pick up my car next week, then I'll be buying the tow bar.

Would Seasuckers work? I used these on numerous type of BMWs, AMG and other sports cars without an issue. Will have to try mine on eventually.

I would hate to have something attached to/on the trunk as I'd always be afraid that it'll scratch. I feel the same about suction cups on the paint, because if it isn't spotless I imagine it could scratch the paint badly.
So I went for the original roof mount a couple of months ago so I could bring my MTB or racer around.
I'll try and attach pictures from the only time I've used it 🙂
Edit: what I love about BMWs is that they are already prepared for roof mounts 🙃
