It is lit and a different color yes. Its not that bright because it doesn't need to be. White on one and Amber in the other. I cant remember which is which. I have noticed it when driving into/out of tunnels on highways through the mountains. The car tries to decide whether its night or just a shadow haha.
This is with auto lights and connected drive with extended cluster.
