The thing about making big power with E85 is that you would need more fuel flow than stock. Because although E85 has a higher octane level than gasoline, it has a lower energy content. That is why most of the STi's, Evo's, and other FI cars run upgraded fuel pumps and injectors when converting to E85. The thing with the N54 is we dont have aftermarket injector's so we are limited in running E85, not to mention if our fuel system as a whole can handle it.

You can more than likely run up to a 50/50 mix with good results, but I wouldn't run it often. If I were you and wanted to run more boost against friends, I'd get race gas and call it a day.
