Hey guys, I just got my M3 a week ago and am interested in coming up with a manageable detailing and washing routine. I have found alot of very useful info at

My car was detailed by the dealership when i picked it up. I do not know what kind of protection the car has from the factory, or what was done at the dealership.
Should I assume that whatever protection the car came with was inadequate, and start with a full detail. (prewash / wash / clay bar /polish / glaze / wax...etc) Or should I start with more of a maintenanace routine, and do the full detail later.
I am very much a novice on the subject, and appreciate any insight you guys can give.
What does your routine consist of?
