I tried this mod with a zip tie method yesterday. No lights no performance lost no nothing so far and it took me less than 10 sec. It is just a tiny bit louder I would say about 7-8% more growl at idle and very low rpm? Nothing impressive happen but is it worth doing it? Yes, because it is free.
