Don't want to start any drama with this question, but I'm interested to see if anyone else noticed the same thing I did with this mod on the 128i.
I blocked off the vacuum hose with a barb connector and rubber cap, and put a cap over the acuator as well. It was absolutely airtight.
I noticed when I pulled away in first gear, that sometimes the car would stumble for a split second, like it was bogging down. Then it'd pick up as normal.
This only happened sometimes, but I reversed the mod to see if it'd help and sure enough, it hasn't done it again since.
I can't see how something so far back in the system could affect the engine in this way, but my own 'evidence' really looks like it did.
Anyone else run into anything similar?
