2020's can be updated by the dealer, how willing they are I guess depends on your regions policies on updates, and individual service centres, but my car is a 2020 (June build) and was updated prior to delivery to 07/2020

It will appear in one of the side menus. I can't remember which one it is from an activation standpoint (my car was only delivered recently) but its the one that has carplay and the bmw connected store shortcuts on it.
