Not only will it kill your resale value, it also will not be nearly as good as the factory unless you have a shop strip it and repaint it, including door jams, undersurfaces and so forth, figure $5G for a cheap job, $10G for a good job.
All I can say is, its nightmare waiting to happen, and you will only have yourself to blame.
