Ok I'm posting this way in advance for you guys!
PBOC is having a HPDE (High Performance Drivers Education) track day at Homestead the weekend of July 13th. It's a 2 day event, but you can go for 1 day if you want. 2 days is $375, just saturday or sunday is $275. Each day you get about 90 minutes of track time, split into 3 sessions. You can also ride along with instructors to get some pointers and tips (it's also a lot of fun seeing it done correctly).
I guarantee it will be just about the most fun you'll ever have in your 1er! I've been to 2 of their events so far and the instructors are very good, and it's always been a blast. It is quite hard on your car, so if you baby your ride just be ready to shed a tear after seeing all the brake dust on your rims. I'm tired of being the only 1er there!

Things you'll need:
A completed tech form for your car before the event (by a shop)
A snell SA 2000 or 2005 helmet
Long pants, closed toe shoes, driving gloves (optional), sunglasses, suntan lotion, snacks, drinks, a cooler!
