GLWS!
So, since no bites from anyone on the forum, I've arranged an early termination lease inspection today.

The silver haired inspector showed up, and before I opened the garage door, I told him that this would be a once in a career look at a 15 month old, 18k mile car that actually appears to have no wear what so ever.. that it would appear to be a new car off the delivery truck. He responded with a shrug..obviously sure that he would find "something" to report.

So, we opened the door and he began to inspect. He examined every panel and square inch of the car for 30 minutes...and in the end of his work, with a look part respect and part disbelief and part defeat, he reported that it was impossible for a car to be in what appears to be a literal showroom condition and so, he actually wrote on his report that it was, simply... "showroom".

If you want to enter a lease with no upfront costs, this is your opportunity. I hope you don't regret passing it over...cause then it will go to some shlep auction and end up in the hands of some non-bimmerpost dude who has no comprehension what an enthusiast's car looks like, properly taken care of... and... wince.. trash it.

Exhaust tips were cleaned daily, wheels in perfect condition.. brake calipers and rotor hats cleaned every few days, undercarriage cleaned after every rain/snow/dirt event... and so on and so on... sad to see it go..but it sure was a fun 15 months!
