BMW should put out a contract their photographers. The pictures at Car and Driver are attributed to BMW and make the car look like it was beaten with the ugly stick then set on fire. The photos make the rear look like it is stuck way up in the air like those hideous US spec Ford Fiestas. Then you see a proper side view and find out it's not the case. WTF?
Oh, and what's the deal with supplying the "generic Euro 4-door" black interior pictures to launch your new vehicle. Boooring! If I get a 228i as a loaner soon I'll report back, but right now I agree with others, it looks a lot like a 1998 Dodge Neon with a BMW nose and 2010 Dodge Dart rear.
