It's over engineered and we love it. The new M3/4 has a chassis rigidity of 40,000nm/degree. Just to put it into perspectives: Lexus LFA carbon fiber chassis is one of the best super car chassis ever made = 39,130nm/degree. Pagani Zonda C12 S = 26,300nm/degree. Corvette C7 = 14,500nm/degree. Lotus Elise = 10,000nm/degree.
