ZF 8spd is fine.
Drove a few Bimmer's with the ZF 8spd and you can't knock how fast they shift and how smooth they operate. Honestly, I see no issues with not having DCT. Would of been nice, but it certainly isn't a deal breaker.
If you really want a DCT, either stick with your 335is or purchase a used e92 M3.
