Finding out when your car was built is the easy part. Go to
www.bmwusa.com, create an account, add your vehicle (with the vehicle production number or VIN) and you can then track its progress through manufacturing. BMW stops tracking the car as soon as it reaches the port. That's my problem right now. It's on a ship, but no one knows which of 2 ships it might be. So I don't know when it will reach NYC. I live about 5 hours from the dealership and would like to make plans to receive the car, other than last minute plans, that is.
