I guess it depends on where you live -- out here (esp. in Scottsdale) $50k cars are not on the expensive side... Not a day goes by where I don't pass a ferrari, countless jags/bmws/porsches and typically some true exotics. I park next to a Cayenne, and an M45 on the parking lot at work... I think this area has more disposeable income than they know what to do with.
