If they repeat the 1M treatment onto the 2 then there is not much room to move in terms of getting maximum power. There will be more mid range torque to be had by upping the boost.
What's the point for BMW to engineer a 380hp car to 450hp+ standard in reliability with say a minimum of 10%-20% increase in manufacturing cost? They don't have the aftermarket tuners in mind when they designed the car.
