HPFP or turbo? Feels catastrophic!
I took delivery of my new 09 135i 5 days ago and all was going swimmingly well until under moderate acceleration I heard a loud hissing sound with severe loss of power. No warning lights came on. It had been starting instantly beforehand. I'm still running it in so haven't done anything crazy and it's only done 400 miles.
My gut feeling is that a turbo or both are screwed but I have read a lot about HPFP failure. The whole situation feels pretty catastrophic and I can't see a good outcome.
It's being picked up today and I'm fuming! Anyone heard of such early problems or further advice?
