Thanks for your suggestion Blackjack - it solves one problem. I have another problem with the Lemon Law - it's just seems wrong to dispatch such a cool little machine to Lemon Law Limbo for something as silly as this gas cap thing.
In the near term, I'm in contact with the salesman about Lemon Law options.
There actually is a positive aspect to a leaky gas cap - fumes could find their way into the window of an Escalade or a Hummer.
