Vermont sales tax is 7%. Sure i can drive to New Hampshire but Vermont is just for the example and the BMW dealer in VT is alot closer for me.

The 6.1% is taxable(GST). The PST of Quebec is calculated on the total amount paid (including Duties, GST and A/C tax)
