np. "normal" operating temp in 335i is up above 210'F (needle straight up on the guage).
It's worth noting I was driving like an old lady until the temperature got up. Also, it was a bit chilly outside. so, take this observation for what it's worth. If your driving more aggressively right out of the drive way, I'm sure the check oil function will be available sooner (but the engine temp would rise faster as well).
