I just plugged my info in the VIN decoder at BMW Archive . org, and while the options look to be correct the color shows:
"Sonderlackierung (490)"
The "490" is a clickable hyperlink. When clicked it brings me to another page on the same site showing the color as Frozen Black Metallic.
