I agree, no reason to run all-seasons and get compromised performance year round. Instead go with the summer performance tires for the warm months and winter tires for the bad months.

Yes you can just throw some snow tires on your 16's and make them your dedicated winter wheels, great idea. I can't wait to see your 18" CSL rims! Did you see the pics of them posted here recently? They are beautiful!
