Makes a big difference on the tranny of the P-car... Porsche claims 0-60 for 6MT is 5.1 and Tiptronic is 5.8. BMW claims 5.3 for 6MT and 5.5 for Step...I think most of us would agree that the tests in magazine show that the 335 gets to 60 a little quicker than what BMW claims. That said 6MT vs. 6MT it would be very very close. Step vs Tip should be close too. 6MT vs Tip should go to the BMW.

I have no problem saying that the BMW probably has a straight line drag advantage...

These are the two cars that I debated on...but, as I built my Cayman S it sticked at almost $80K. Plus the N54 is much more tunable and could be made to be much quicker than the Porsche for reasonable money.

This car is so fast in a straight-line drag that you'll have to hitchhike home."
