I've gone back and forth on this issue in my mind for months. I live in Cincinnati and get about 10-15 days a year of snow/ice issues. The problem is that many times it is not 12 inches of packed snow we drive in - it is more like an inch of ice or 3-5 inches of slush/ice, etc. I really want to avoid swapping out tires twice a year. Just seems like a hassle. I know people do it, but it just isn't that appealing. If the xi is not good in the snow/ice with the allseasons, that is one reason to just ditch the xi and get the 330i and do the wheel/tire swap, but I'd like to know whether people have had good results with the past xi versions with allseason rubber.
