I did not take out the right side of the trunk liner which saved some time - I was able to fish my wire through to the passenger compartment with a wire passer (i.e. 3 foot segment of 14G electrical wire). I also did not need to remove the rear seats, just pop out the passenger side clip and you can lift it up enough to get access to what you need.

1. The 14awg wire was stiff enough to get to the trunk area? Then you just tied the ends together (video cable and 14awg wire) and pulled the wire through to the side of the back seat?
2. Do you have a pic of the side of "clip" and area you mentioned above?
