Between the Audi A3/S3 and the CLA, they sold about 58k small 4 door sedans in the US in 2016. You could argue that the number is dropping a bit YoY, but it's still a solid feeder market for BMW that appeals to its performance roots as well as a younger crowd that doesn't want a huge car, but might want 4 doors.

Still, BMW pays lots of smart people to run the numbers and I suppose that the "truckfication" of the US is going to continue.

Does this mean we will be tearing up sections of track to create rallycross facilities for DE events?
