You should know exactly which car you are getting with all the details, at the time the car is built(or transferred from another dealership) no paper work is needed.
My went to the dealership told them exactly what she wanted (color,interior, packages) they said they do not have it, she would have to wait 2 months because it is being sent from Germany.
After 2 months they called her, she picked up the car, signed all the papers
