Break In Oil Change.
Pick up an M240i xdrive less than a month ago. I have had 4 Subaru's in the past 10 years. I have been changing my own oil for the past years on all my previous cars and all my family members cars. All M vehicles come with the 1200 mile break in service but our cars aren't considered M vehicles. I will be prob putting about 10-12k miles a year on this car. So I will be getting one oil change a year if I go with the dealers recommendation. So to cut to the point.
Since I'm new to BMW, what did everyone do regarding the break in oil change and which intervals do you guys recommend? What oil do these bad boys like, filter recommendations. I will do some research but have been crazy busy with work. Car is a daily driver and will prob not see a track for a while. I already have a Dinan CBE installed, and will only go as far as an intake and Dinan Stage 1 within the next few months. Thanx in advance
