I just wanted to say that you should try it before dismissing it. It seems to work better than the Cayman's system, which admiteedly isn't that good of a LSD replacement. However, I was very surprised, as was my co-driver, who is a former SCCA national champ. There's no slug coming out of corners, and if you apply too much gas, you'll spin both, but you won't spin just one or get the throttle cut.

The electronics in the e82 are totally different for the eLSD mode (which does not even exist on the e9X cars).
Point taken - I will refrain from commenting on the eLSD until I drive it.
