Really not trying to start an argument here, but this is false. 6-speed manuals have been offered in the C and SLK ranges, albeit not in any AMG model.

Also, Mercedes is moving toward it's MCT, which replaces the torque converter for a wet clutch for it's 7-speed transmission. It's currently offered in the SL63 and E63, and should filter it's way down to all models over the coming years.

Far out of reach for many, but the SLS uses a dual-clutch 7-speed transmission, manufactured by Getrag. No it's not the same one as in the M3.
