The white ones are my main set of headlights. This set is for show purposes. I've taken them off so many times, I can swap them in 5-8 minutes.
In person, the red is really red. No hint of orange or white. The camera makes it white-ish.
There is a thread on my main forum done by Eugene134. I just followed his DIY thread. You have to cut out the circuit board, desolder the amber LEDs and replace them with white, red, blue or green LEDs you find in RadioShack. Solder it, seal them backup.
