Ask the F series owners how much they loved their batteries dying premature death due to A.S.S.
The G series may be more immune to this due to the dual battery design, but we don't have enough data yet on this...

I also don't like that the oil drips off the bearings when off that BMW added a teflon like layer on the crankshaft bearings. Oil will always be a superior lubricant vs any solid.
Your starter also takes a big brunt of this. Hybrids don't have as much as an issue as they usually have huge starters that are integrated into flywheels like the 530e. The regular B58 starter looks like a standard issue one

Long story short: if you lease, who cares and leave ASS on, if it's a purchase, kill the A.S.S.
