A lot of dealers have already pre-sold the ones that are arriving in the coming weeks (especially since they are getting so few allocations to start out with) or are asking sticker price for the one they have available so April may be a little too soon to pick one up off a dealer lot. Maybe May/June you should be able to do so and possibly have some negotiating room.
