Have you tried different octane gas? I seem to get better mpg with 89 octane versus 93 octane.

I'm on my 3rd tank of 89, so I'm guessing it's gotta be 89 or 90 octane.. My normal highway commute is up 33 or 34 mpg with it. On 93, I was getting 29 or 30 mpg.

I don't know why I get better mpg on 89, but I'm guessing it's because it takes less spark to ignite it... Maybe that's giving me a better burn? No idea, but the mpg is better than with 93 and it costs less.

Once I'm down to empty, I'm going to go back to 93 to see if it might just be my driving.. I don't know.. but right now, it seems 89 might be the ticket for me since I'm not racing my car.
