Just start tracking the car first. Turn the boost down so stock I/C can handle the temps and after spending lots of money having fun on a track, then decide what to do next.
I had a set of Volk TE37's on my 240 years ago. Beautiful wheels. Probably my all-time favorite for looks. Sold them pretty quick though for some flow formed cast wheels that were much cheaper and I wasn't nearly as worried about getting scratched or damaged from hard driving. I bought them used and sold them for a little less and so it only cost a few hundred dollars to own them. Don't think I'd ever spend that much to buy a set new.
